"CoasterForce is an excellent stepping stone into a massive on-line market we wish to tap into." Said general marketing manager Greg Stives. "We're investing in CoasterForce to help bring us into new and dynamic markets. While CoasterForce shall still cover all the parks in the industry, Merlin Entertainment shall have a prominent position on the site".

There will be little change to the look and objectives of CoasterForce. We shall still be covering all parks, and the forum community will remain. Merlin are aware of the importance of the community to Ian. Changes will be superficial initially, with Merlin branding going onto the site in the near future, and the advertising space to be dedicated to Merlin attractions.

Part of the deal will see several of the team members taken on as permanent staff members within Merlin. Though it has not yet been finalised who will be kept on in the future. Merlin will be recruiting other members of permanent staff to work on both the site maintenance, and forum moderation.

"This is a great opportunity for all the members of CoasterForce." Says Dan Farrell, "We shall be able to expand and become much more professional with the investment being made. Merlin will also offer CoasterForce members discounts and deals at their attractions. Be assured though, CoasterForce will remain the same place it's always been."
