Here is my short photo report from my recent trip to Toverland in Holland. My friend Andy tagged along for the 3 day trip in Germany and Holland. We had figured out we could catch the train from Dusseldorf in Germany to Sevenum in Holland and then get a local bus straight to the park. Although it ended up more complicated than we thought we still managed a full day at the park. One of most fun parks I have ever visited. Although the line up is small enough the play areas for both adults and kids indoors and outdoors make up for it. And the friendly atmosphere, made it a great park to visit.
Toverland really is in the middle of nowhere, but luckily the bus drops you off right outside.
The main building where most of the attractions are housed apart from Booster Bike, Troy and the adventure playgounds.
The other area of the park with Troy.
The main attraction indoors is Boomerang the Vekoma Junior coaster.
It was surprisingly good as it travelled fast throughout the hall, although it could have done with two circuits instead of one.
The theming indoors was amazing, with loads of forested areas.
The GCI beast outside, we had about an hour until it opened.
There was loads of these net bridges and slides which you can mess about on.
The Woudracer Bobkart ride which starts indoors and follows a large track outdoors.
Back Stroke logflume, which also passes indoors and outdoors.
Fantastic theming and the flume produces a huge wave from the steep drop.
Up next was Booster Bike which also opened later than the indoor attractions.
Good fun but not as good as Velocity at Flamingoland.
Lack of build up before the launch and a bumpy ride marked it down a little.
Up next the main attraction and my new No.1 coaster, Troy.
No queues and walk on all day.
Passing right above the station area.
Awesome first drop especially seated in the back row.
I don't know if the rain was making it faster, but the speed throughout was unreal.
Twists and turns throughout.
The famous Troy horse.
Then finally it was back inside for another few circuits on Boomerang before heading back to Dusseldorf.

| Nice report! Didn't know that almost the entire park was built indoors. I wonder how strange it will look with the Batman clone opening there next year (any signs of construction?). Troy seems awesome too, the faster you get a GCI in Britain, the better. |

Awesome report there Emmett, I am glad we have another convert to Toverland, and to Troy!
The rain does make a difference, but on normal days, it really does maintain that speed and airtime.
Woudracer, the bobsled, may not be that extreme, but is great fun, especially in the rain
I am there next Saturday for the 6th time this year - it really is that addictive, for some night riding - it's open until 11pm
Pokemaniac, as far as the Batman clone goes, that is nothing more than a rumour. The Park have, however been in discussions with a local manufacturer, regarding what will go into the new 3rd Hall. |

Cheer Aero, its a great place. Everyone should try and get over to it, much better than some of the other Dutch parks about.
Your 6th time this year, you must really love it. I bet riding it at night would be amazing as its looks very dark around the area already.
Pokemaniac thanks for the reminder of the Batman rumour, I actually forgot about when I was there. I didn't see any work going on or areas sectioned off. |

We visited an empty park last November, the thermometer in the Booster Bike booth read -7 in the evening, although there was no wind chill so it felt okay.
What did you think of the Park music?
I think every coaster takes on a new dimension in the dark, even the tame Booster Bike looks and rides amazingly.
The horse always looks spectacular.
And the beast is simply the best |

^ What site does those images come from? I don't think the watermark is clear enough and wouldn't to annoy any webmasters.
And yes, Emmett, great report. Another must do. *sigh* Hope that lottery win comes through soon! |

Nice report Emmett!
GCI certainly does know how to make some beautiful wooden coasters. I also love the look of Toverland's flume ride.
Ever since CP took out their flume ride in 2005 for Maverick, the chance of riding a flume ride have been far and few between. |

Toverland is probably the park I am most desperate to visit right now.
Luckily, I'll be headed to Holland next Spring, and I'll finally get Troy. |

I wouldn't go in spring, It snowed when i was there in march.
Snow/sleet/hale hurts on a Booster Bike.
Were the major rides open all the time you were there? |
