Anyone remember those insane concept art images of a giraffe hotel meant for Chimelong's 3rd park heading to Qingyuan north of Guangzhou?
Well like many Chinese parks this one had a 2021 opening planned that silently slipped away with no news.
I believe what actually happened is the delay with the Quingyuan Maglev line which is to have a station at the park essentially forced Chimelong to wait. But now after several years laying dormant the park has sprung back to life all of a sudden.
OVERVIEW
This will be Chimelong's 3rd major Theme Park following Chimelong Paradise and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom (2 of the most popular parks in China) and has a heavy focus on animals and safari.
Not much is known about coasters beyond the concept art but what is believed to be a Mack junior coaster is on site already and if Chimelong are removing Diving Coaster from Chimelong Paradise it might be reasonable to expect it to show up here? but who knows.
The resort will have multiple hotels including the insane looking Giraffe themed resort and as mentioned you will be able to get a Maglev direct to the park entrance from the city. (And if that isn't cool I don't know what is)

The park is enormous and spread out hugely amongst the hillsides,

With Chimelongs usually excellent themeing standards and an interestingly unknown coaster package heading to the park this is one to look out for over the next couple of years.
