About Roller Coaster Tycoon 3
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 finally brought the Roller Coaster Tycoon series bang up to date, and in full 3-D. The game retains the same game play that made the originals such hits, but with the advantage of being able to ride your creations.
There was a little of the complexity of Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 removed to allow for the 3-D element, and a powerful PC is required to run the game in all it's glory. However, most players relish the glorious graphics and the ability to finally get a feel for your park from a peeps-eye view.
Many of the initial limitations were removed in the add-on packs: Soaked! and Wild! Both packs are a worthwhile investment for any player of the game.

The first add-on pack for Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 adds swimming pool complexes to your parks. Along with the pools; diving boards, bubble pools, slides and wave machines are now available for you to please your peeps. Soaked also adds the ability to build underground to the game and has a few new rides and scenery options.

For the next add-on, Atari gave you animals to play with. Zoos and animal shows can now be part of your park's entertainment. Unlike Soaked!, Wild! offers a considerable amount of additional ride types, as well as alternative park entrances and scenery.
