A 15-20 minute taxi ride south of Daejeon's main train station will get you to Zoo Land. As the name suggests, the zoo is the main draw of this family park, with a few rides thrown in for good measure. The main focus of the zoo, and the area with the longest lines, is an excellent safari ride, taking guests through a number of animal enclosures, including lions, tigers and a huge group of bears. This park is very much geared towards families and school groups, and so thrillseekers may feel disappointed at the small ride selection. However, this is one of Korea's prettier parks, and while it may not be worth a special trip, it's worth a visit for anyone who may be in the area.
