Parc Asterix, Plailly, France

Goudurix | Périférix | Ronde des Rondins | Tonnerre de Zeus | Trade du Hourra | Vol D'Icare
Menhir Express | La Descente du Styx | Le Grand Splatch | Oxygenarium

A masterpiece. A wooden classic. Situated in the furthest corner of the park lies Parc Asterix's golden ride. Named after the leader of the Greek Gods, Zeus will satisfy every enthusiast wanting a nice dose of airtime.

Zeus is a tight woodie that features many sexy, tight, long, sweeping bends and plenty of horny drops. There's also an on ride photo on this ride.

The station is a bit of a free-for-all when it comes to it, and most people queue for the back...understandably!

It's the perfect wooden coaster, there is airtime but not too much (i.e. no back breaking crashes into your seat), the
coaster rattles and you are constantly scared throught the ride.

Amazing wooden coaster, my new number 1. From start to finish it never gives up the speed. Tonnes of airtime also. Pitty
about the long queues which form but its understandable which such a masterpiece.

Awsome ride, especially at the back in torrential rain lol lol. Without a doubt the second best woodie in Europe next to
Balder and it is a very close 2nd. A masterpiece tight, fast, airtime and no trim brakes.

Bit meh I thought. Not much force - perhaps I just caught it on a bad day, but I can only rate on what I
know.Congratulations to LiveForTheLaunch for the most pointless comment ever.

The best in Europe...what?? probably the world!! This one just keeps on going...it just stops until it hits those
brakes.. And a great track too, that doesn't get dull!!

This was excellent, I've been on Megafobia, and I found this better than it

One of my favourite rides ever, possibly better than Nemesis and Air. Best ride in the parl:) the first drop is very
good on the back seats.

My favourtie ride ever, now its two Asterix ride's I like more than last time ever... It might be uncomfortable and
painful in *places* but they aren't bad things! Its better than any high you could get, too awesome to describe, on a
good or bad day! (But a good day's better ;) )

It's clear that TDZ has a very well layout , at start I thought that it was a so good ride , but now it's disappointing
, becoming uncomfortable , in spite of that , the ride keeps a quite well quality , but less than at his beginning .

Brilliant! Exactly what a coaster should be like. The massive drops and all the turns, simply fantastic.

A very special ride, and only the third ride I've ever rated 10. It's so disorientating, thrilling and fun. The station
is cool, the statue of Zeus is wicked and the ride...wow!

The layout is amazing, the drops are huge, and the turns are forceful - what more could you want!(Plus, Zeus wears
spotty undies!)

Agree with Steve, its better than megafobia. It really is great. Very powerful, awesome airtime, long course and the
best trick-track element ever!

Tonnerre de Zeus looks absoloutely stunning, and is one of the wooden coasters that I definately want a chance to ride
sometime in the future.
