Thunder Dolphin
Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan

Thunder Dolphin | Linear Gale | Spinning Coaster Maihime | Geopanic | Big-O | Wonder Drop
Tower Hacker
| Sky Flower | Zombie Paradise

Thunder Dolphin has been criticized by some enthusiasts for having less airtime than other Intamin megacoasters. While this may be true, it makes up for this in other areas. Aesthetically, this coaster is very pleasing. It looks stunning, interacting Tokyo's buildings and passing through the middle of a ferris wheel. It also has an amazing first drop, and offers an incredibly smooth, fun ride.

Great first drop and setting, but the ride is weak and the loading is really slow, with insane safety regulations.

Intamin uses tri track where there will be less negative and positive g forces, usually on straight track and minor
bunny hills.

Yes, there is a trick-track.

So is that lift a chain or cable? Looks like fun. The trick-track seems a little wierd though.

I think this ride could do with a couple more cars per train, not that it really matters.

Its not the airtime that makes a coaster great, it has to be thrilling while not too rough but not too smooth either,
thunder dolphin is a truly exellent ride

Very fast and a huge first drop. Very imatating the way it goes around the buildings. Definetly worth a ride.
