Tokyo Bay, Tokyo, Japan

Spin Bullet | Halfpipe Canyon | Wild Wing | Wild Jungle | Wild River | Dark Chapel
Zathura | The Room of Living Dolls

Creepy. Very, very creepy. There is a story here which you won't understand if you don't know Japanese, but I'm assured it's pretty horrific. Guests are led into a room with a table in the middle. The four walls of this room are stacked full of dolls, creepy, horrible, demented looking dolls. Guests sit around this table and are given headphones to wear. The lights go out, and in the complete darkness we hear some crazy woman talking, yelling and screaming. These are no basic headphones. They make you feel as if the woman is whispering right in your ear, moving around you. At the end, all the eyes of the dolls around the room start to glow, and guests are encouraged to leave before the dolls  do something.....

I have to say that the description above of the ride is somewhat accurate, but not wholly. Even if you don't understand
Japanese, you can follow the story pretty well by the very graphic sounds inside the ride. The ride starts with you
being left toy our own devices, fumbling down a very long and dark hallway until you reach the second attendant. He then
prefaces with a little background for the story as well as a warning that the ride can not be stopped once started. The
ride is designed to perfectly sync sound with feeling- you will feel the weight of the characters moving around you
without them actually being there. The creators maximize the experience with cold chills that sit on your shoulders at
the appropriate times, and the eerie glow of little eyes all about the room when horrifying events happen. Here's a
hint... look over the table once you enter the room to see a clue to the story. Overall, this is one of the more
enjoyable experiences Joypolis has to offer. If given a chance, definitely hop in line that forms on the top floor
around the corner from Prison Break.

it sounds horrific, yet one of the best horror rides ever, it sounds simple, and awesome, but if i ever go to japan, i
will most likely stay off this one, the japenese are known to make some of the worlds scariest horror stories.
