 Great Escape was originally known as Storytown USA, which was all about nursery rhymes and childhood stories. Well, the park has changed alot since then, but still maintains the family-oriented mentality. Some of the storytown things are still there, but the park's attractions are now the main draw. It's not far from the NY state throughway, and is about 15 minutes from Lake George itself.
