The ride selection is very varied, with something for thrill seekers to small children and families. The park also boasts a huge water park which is free with standard entry. You'll find monster roller coasters, entertaining flat rides, classic fairground rides and some drenching water rides.
Food is quite good, mostly snack/fast food and there are plenty of restaurants. Unfortunately there are not many picnic tables if you want to bring your own food in. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Staff are friendly, although are heavily trained to subscribe to the corporate idea of Six Flags; almost robotic. Parking is cheaper than most other parks in the US so money can be saved there. Park merchandise is good, with own branded stuff plus the usual jokes and stuff you'd expect.
On the whole, Kentucky Kingdom is one of Six Flag's better parks and is well worth a day (or two) out.
