Park Information

M&D's boasts to be "Scotland's Theme Park", so if you're expecting a stereotypical Scottish experience, you may be disappointed. It's like any other theme park; it offers rides, food and plenty of fun. The only Scottish thing about it is that it is in Scotland.

The park itself offers free parking and free entry. You only pay for the rides and attractions that you want to go on. An unlimited ride wristband would set you back about £15. Aside from the theme park there's plenty of other stuff to do. There's arcades, a bowling alley, restaurants and a picturesque Loch to walk around.

The park has a very temporary feel to it. Most of the rides, mostly varied, are travelling rides permanently fixed to the ground. Theme is sparse and it's a very concrete sort of park. However, it's good value for money.

Food comes in the typical fast food diet (no fried Mars Bars though!). Staff are helpful and polite but seem disinterested. The park is clean and tidy and there are plenty of facilities and amusements for everybody.

The park is really easy to find - just off the M74 motorway and is served by a direct bus from Glasgow.
