How is it possible to improve on perfection? Chris Sawyer managed it with the release of Roller Coaster Tycoon 2.
Now as concerned with the idea of creating "the perfect park" as he was with creating great coasters in the original, Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 took designers to the next level.
All new types of theming, better methods for building scenery, streamlined game play, new scenarios, bigger and better coaster types and most importantly, a sandbox mode to let you create and share your creations with other players.
Two add-on packs were produced for Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 which expanded and the ride types, scenery and scenarios: Wacky Worlds and Time Twister.
Wacky Worlds
The first add-on pack for Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 adds theming and scenarios based on locations right across the globe. From Antarctica to Rome, you'll find somewhere you want to base a theme park on.
Time Twister
For the next add-on, Atari gave you a whole set of time zones to play with. Themes and scenarios based on different ages from Jurassic, right up to the rocking 50's, then out into the future.
Resources
Coaster Force has a lively and active forum that shows of members' skills at the game. We run infrequent, but fun, competitions and have a team working towards recreating real rides, as well as producing excellent parks.

easily tha best 1. RCT3 is good, but it takes alot of room on ur computer and that can lead to freezing and slowness and its rubbish!! rct2 is great!

only 2 reasons to why i prefer RCT3 is that RCT3 is 3D, and you can also ride the rides! and i like the selection of rides in RCT3 but was excellent at the time!

Can I ask u lot how u create an association in file options? cause my computer says that I cant download cause there isn't a file associated wiv the programme!

Probably the best RCT game out of the trio mainly because of its flexibility to hack and import new items into the game. With that people can turn the game into a weapon to create some of the best of which I like to call, "Pieces Of Art" around. And even though most people don't want to take the game seriously, there are heaps of scenarios to play and you can create your own scenarios to challenge yourself or your friends. Also the game is pretty much compatible with any computer and won't suffer any lag time at all. Overall, an awesome game, whichever way you play it.
