Keeping with cheesy fairground tradition, Rage comes in possible the most garish colours you've ever seen. However, don't let that put your off this wonderful ride! "Rage" is the name of Adventure Island's newest and bravest super hero and you take flight on him as you battle the inversions, anticipation and speed of the coaster track.
Riders are winched up a vertical chain lift before tipping over the edge and down a 97 degree drop before hitting a vertical loop, a zero-g roll, an immelmann loop and a super-fast helix before hitting the brakes.
Rage also features a quirky voiceover at the top of the lift hill, similar to Oblivion's "Don't Look Down", that features the Superhero Rage warning riders: "Superheroes Ready!".
The inversions are tightly packed together creating a disorientating ride and there is a speckle of hang-time on the loop. The ride is typically Gerstlauer smooth and is best enjoyed in the front seats.
Throughput is very fast for a ride of this size so you can be sure of many re-rides! The minimum rider height limit is 1.2 metres meaning most of the family can ride. At the time of writing (March 2007), Rage is a two ticket or blue wristband ride.
Name: Rage Manufacturer: Gerstlauer Coaster type: Euro-Fighter Model 320+ Opened: February 2007 Speed: 43.5mph Height: 72 ft Length: 1184 ft

I think this ride is better than speed at Aokwood!

Good coaster for the park, but nothing special in the grand coaster scheme.

Brilliant little coaster, loved the first drop with some great ejector airtime. Puts Adventure Island on the map- 9

Meh, it's quite fun. The vertical lift hill is cool, good drop, fun loop, good inline. Fab for the park, squeezes in to a tiny space. 6 or 7

Very fast and compact- an enjoyable and fun ride. Not world class by any means, but for a glorified wild mouse fairground ride it does the job very well. The park is worth visiting just for this.

Awesome coaster, really packs a punch for something so small. I'm totally in love with the "Superheroes Ready" at the top of the lift hill. Fab!

Briliant. A great ride and a great addition to the park. The queues aren't always that big either.

A true cool RC for this small park! Replacing the Raging River the 'Coaster which I rode 3 times! My 1st in the back, 2nd in the left front[my head wan crazy!] and finally my 3rd time in the right front wee I was fine!

A pretty decent ride wiv some intense forces, ok so Speed is far better but baring in mind the limited space wiv which Adventure Island had to work wiv they've done a decent job at producing one of the best rides on the east coast!

Fun and Enjoyable, nice amount of Airtime on the drop as well as some hang time on the loop, a little rough at points depending on what train you are on, but with queues normally not being any longer than 5 minutes, you will get plenty of re-rides making up for the short ride duration...

Great ejector on the first drop, turns into a smooth and forceful loop with fantastically done hangtime at the top. The entrance and exit to the cut-back are horrible, with the bit in the middle great. From there it stays a little on the rough side, a bit short and lacks re-ride potential. Having said that, the perfect ride for AI, looks awesome, and does give a great ride. 7.

A good, smooth ride, but far too short for my liking and the restraints can really hurt and get you hot if pulled down too far.

Good fun thrilling ride, which I honestly thought was better than Speed.

Smoother than Speed, but it was only a week old when I rode it.
