Pyrenees | Bullfight  Roller Coaster Matador | Gran Montserrat | Splash Montserrat | Adventure Lagoon                 Flying Don Quixote | Batalla del Alcazar | Shining Luminous Castle | Don Quixote's Magical Flight                      Swing Santa Maria | Alice in Wonderland

Pyrenees, Parque Espana's signature ride, is widely regarded as being one of the best B&M inverts on the planet. Despite being ridden by very few enthusiasts, due to its relative isolation, it regularly appears on many people's "most wanted" lists.

Type: Inverted
Manufacturer: Bolliger & Mabillard
Height: 147ft 8 inches
Length: 4048ft 7 inches
Speed: 62.1mph

Inversions: 6 (loop, zero-g roll, loop, cobra roll, corkscrew)
Opened: 1997

Currently, Pyrenees is the longest of the B&M inverted coasters, as well as being among the tallest and fastest. The first drop is incredible and the inversions and helixes are forceful. This coaster also has some nice pops of airtime, a rarity on this type of coaster.

This ride is extremely "clean" looking, though it has been criticised for its lack of theming. This could be considered as quite strange, considering the high theming levels everywhere else in this park. However, with a coaster this good, who cares?

Does look sorta bland. The theming, not the ride. The ride is so open. and this ride is nothin like nemesis. There's a
100 ft height difference.

Its nothing like Nemesis; Nemesis barely rises above 50 ft, this is nearly 3 times as big. Despite Pyrenees being nearly
twice as long too. I can see why it's rated so high. Shame that the ride looks incredibly dull in terms of scenery, the
layout looks huge, and that drop looks steep and speedy!

I enjoyed it but it pulled me back into my seat, without a doubt..It seemed to make me dizzy with the speed and excessif
amount of G-Force.

This ride is insane, it's a great layout and the inversion are very forceful. The 1st drop is excellent.

Doesn't look like it should be the best in the world... Just cause 2 people give it a 10 means it's the best??? We need
a more efficient rating system.
