This is a nice quick alternative to a coaster because right next door, TTD steals potential riders out of Power Tower's queue. Both sides are fun but I like the turbo drop better.

I love all S+S power shot rides, so i was surprised to notice that Power Tower had two origins- Shot 'n' Drop and Turbo Drop. I really enjoyed the Turbo Version (where riders are winched to the top of the tower before freefalling) Woahhh! does it hurt though!!!

Ahh, the power tower, one of my favorite rides at cedar point, It offers two rides; turbo drop and space shot, both of them are extremely fun! and since the bulk of the crowd is going to the millenium force and the top thrill dragster, The line for the power tower isnt very long. Although, i must say i like the other thrill rides better, but the power tower still offers the unique experiences that a thrill rider has come to expect. Worth travelling for. and i can't wait to get another chance to ride this fun thrill ride again ^.^

Well, I fianlly rode PT during our Cedar Point Live (just to make Taylor happy! :P ) and I must say it is a pretty fun ride. Not as much airtime as on DD, as it is forced freefall, but still a fun ride.

This is a great ride me and my friends like the turbo drop side more but the space shot side is pretty fun too.

Ahh, Power Tower. A GREAT thrill ride, not to be missed. The Turbo Drop gives an amazing view of the park/lake Erie (depending on where you're sitting!) and when you get to the top, the suspense builds as you wait fall. It's not extremely intense, but it's very, very fun. The Space Shot typically has a shorter line, but the Turbo Drop is more worth it. The only good thing I found about the Space Shot was the nice pop of airtime at the top.
