Park guide and photos by Gavin Jones

This amazingly themed park may be quite isolated compared to other major Japanese parks, but it can be reached easily from either Osaka or Nagoya, both around a two hour train ride away. The easiest way is to head to Shimaisobe station, then take a ten minute taxi ride. The park is known locally as Spain Village.

The theming here is top notch throughout the park, from the stunning entrance plaza, to the "Spanish" village shopping area. The rides here, for the most part, are also very unique, to the point of being downright weird in some cases. This park is suitable for pretty much anyone. The unique coasters here will keep enthusiasts more than happy, while families will have a great time here, too.
