Monte Makaya
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Monte Makaya | Monte Aurora | Piui | Cabhum | Caravela | Rapids

Monte Makaya once held the world record jointly with Port Aventura's Dragon Khan for having the most inversions (at the time, 8) on coaster.  It is somewhat ironic that the world record was stolen from these two by Thorpe Park with a ride that essentially just added two extra inline twists to Monte Makaya's 4 year old design.  Monte Makaya is the biggest steel coaster in Brazil, and is widely considered to be very good.

Thorpe park had to steal the design as the GP are amazed if it goes upside down the most times. out of all the loopers
dragon Khan rules supreme.

No, Colossus is the clone of this ride. With 2 extra inversions.

We may have stole there design and China stole ours but boy does the ride like ugly in colour and don't get me started
about the carriage. Rust over here and rust over there yuck! I have to say the design still looks awesome.
