This coaster has a lot of potential to be really fun and has an awesome layout. But it's got to be one of the roughest pieces of shit I've been on, even worse than Cyclone at SFNE.

On this you either seem to get a boring ride or an intense ride, the intense ones are great but the boring ones are quite, well, boring. I rode this three times and it was only exciting the last time which was a shame.

Terrible. It's boring, slow (who the f*** puts a trim on the first drop), and it hurts like a mother.

The trim brakes kill it. Now it's just boring.

Oh I remeber ridding Mean Streak BEFORE the Trims were added to the drop.(...Sigh...) I wish the ride wasn't so rough now. In my opinion they should remove mean streak and make a flying coaster...

This is one of the most painful coasters ever. It has no speed. What's the point of taking you up the lift hill if there just going to break you on the way down.

Mean Streak screamed "I could be fun." But it was boring. I also wasn't sure if the trims were a saving grace. The ride could have been a lot rougher if it weren't for those.
6/10.

This was just horrid. There was no sensation of speed, no airtime, and lots of aching pain. LOTS of pain. This is the single most boring coaster I've ever ridden. The absolute low point of my trip to CP.

I like this ride. It is not awful like everyone says. I don't understand why Cedar Point put brakes on the first drop. It really makes the drop kind of lame. The ride is fun overall though.

I like Mean Streak alot. I dont understand why everyone says it awful and it should be removed for a new ride. I think the drops and speed through Mean Streak is great.

I don't really understand why everyone thinks it sucks. Yes, it's not as good as other woodies, but it's still a good, twisted woodie.

It does have the speed still, but the airtime is gone from this once-promising coaster. It's sad, really.

Good, but no where near the best. It has speed, and that's it. Airtime gone, smoothness gone, thrill gone, but some speed it's got still...

Just 1 word... OUCH!!! I like rough wooden coasters, but the trims totally kill the entire ride experience.

The trim brakes totally screw the experience, however. The drop lacks any willy lift or airtime in entirety, and rarely will you get any airtime on this coaster. It's still a fun ride, but don't overestimate it.

It's not that rough, considering it's wooden. It's a fun ride, although I wouldn't say it was on of the best in the park.

It now is my favorite woodie since my old favorite one was taken down (Hercules at DP). I love roughness on woodies, but hate it on steel coasters. Therefore, this is a great ride with great hills, even with the roughness.

This ride is extremely rough, unless your in the front car. Wait for the front car because if you dont, you will be in pain.

Ouch.
I find it difficult to see how this ride is currently rated higher then Blue Streak, CP's other woodie. The ride is rough, first off. Now I'm all for a rough woodie, but this one was beyond my limits for some parts. The layout itself is brilliant. This could easy be an incredible woodie. But they've not been kind to this- it's trimmed to death... there's very little airtime anywhere along the ride, which just ruins the experience for me.

When I first got in line, I thought: "Darn it! What am I getting myself into. You heard the rumors 'This ride is rough'". Except I didn't think the word 'darn'. Well, I got in the front seat, and the ride was just awesome.

tons of fun. wait a bit before you ride again, though. can be a little rough on your insides. worth a little bit of a wait, but once again, if other rides are shorter, go for them.

Not as rough as some people say, and is a good ride, but not one of the best ones I've ridden. Mean Streak has a good first drop though, and the 2nd half of the ride is better than the first.
