I'm not a fan of stand ups and this was one of the worse ones.

My favorite stand up, but the trim brakes are just the wrong thing for this ride.. :( They should have put launch
wheels..

Truthfully, this roller coaster wasnt the least bit painful to me. It rushed a lot of blood to my little brothers legs,
but I wasnt the least bit uncomfortable. The first half of the ride was great, I just wish i could have ridden it
without the brakes. The second half would be so much wilder!

Mantis was alright, the trims kind of killed the ride. But, it was still fun. 7/10 at the most.

There was some headbanging, but my ride was very fun, fast, and forceful. Plus, the restraints aren't too bad.

I found it rather plain to be honest. It's good fun but just a bit of a mess; teh coaster has no soul!

Hurts your legs. (Stand in the middle to spots and it takes pressure of your legs.)

Mantis is one of the best B&M standing coasters around.

Uh, Problem! The description for the ride says it was constructed in 1998. But the spec box says it opened in 1996!
WTF?!? Which is it?

the mantis is a very fun coaster, although it does sometimes kinda squish things on a male body that shouldnt be
squished. But all in all, the thrill of this ride's many flips and complex turns lies in the feeling of standing up
while all of this is going on, a deffinite MUST-RIDE at cedar point :3nod:

Let's put it this way. Of the 4 stand up's I've done (Georgia Scorcher, Vortex [Carowinds], Chang, and Mantis) Mantis
places dead last. It's not a terrible ride, it's just not very good either. I'm a big believer that the standup should
be smaller and compact with stuff close to the ground. Mantis also happens to be the most painful of the 4. So I'm not
a big Mantis fan.

I'd heard that this was pretty rough, but I actually found it really smooth. A nice layout with plenty of G's, plus an
interesting colourscheme makes this one of my favorite coasters in the park. Not as good as Riddlers Revenge, but still
a great coaster.

Although my ride on Mantis was very uncomfortable, I can't take points off because I'm 6'6". I don't quite fit without
slouching a bit so I was in a bit of pain, but the ride was still a blast. The trims on the drop suck though =[

this ride is was pretty awesome for a stand up but the wait gets long you should eat and then wait in line for mantis
because the wait is long

Mantis is really a fun ride but it is pretty painful for your legs. It is still a good ride though.

Ouch. Thats all I can say. I rode mantis at the end of the day and it gave me leg and back pains after the ride. The
ride itslef was fun though. 6 for me.

The inversions are fantastic and creatively done in this stand up. The ride was great. The inversions make this ride
since there are no major air time hills but the inversions delivered.

Good stand up and very unique. The incline loop adds that extra feeling you just don't get with a normal loop. A bit
rough near the end at the corkscrew, but overall a good ride.

Looks ok, and i may not have been on this but Riddler's Revenge or Chang, but to me these two seem to thrash this

Very fun ride. Best stand up I've been on. A little advice though. When they are setting the restraints to your height
stand up straight. If you don't you'll regrete it later, it really hurts the croch. All in all, a great ride.

Very gud, not sure bout the colour but still gud experience, lots of positive G's and also gud negative one's too. Still
not as gud as Riddlers Revenge but way better than Shockwave or any other stand-up.

I almost went rabid in the queue. It was very hot, my dad wouldn't allow me to get refreshments in the queue, it was a 1
1/2 hour wait, and the ride broke down once. But I kept the spirit and got the front seat and was rewarded with a great
ride. (But not the best)

I was a bit dissapointed with this, my first ever stand up coaster. It is a nice ride but just didn't deliver what I'd
hoped it would. (Make sure if you're riding you make yourself comfortable before pulling down your restraint!)

This is a really fun, intense ride. All of the inversions are packed with plenty of lovely g's, and the beginning loop
is a truely spectacular inversion. If your a fan of B&M coasters, you'll love Mantis.

A pretty good ride. since you have to spend at least 2 days at CP to get the real experience, don't pass up Mantis the
first day if it has Hour-long lines. Mantis always has long lines due to the long Loading/unloding cycle. Worth about 45
minutes on a fairly empty day at the park. If Millenium(just across the midway) has less of a wait, go there first!

My very first stand up coaster and I have to say I was very pleased. Mantis is a very fun ride, has some very cool
elements, and a nice sized drop... Not to mention the vibrant colour scheme. A lot of times in Mantis reviews, you hear
the word "headbanger" but I didn't find it to be too bad, actually! Another great ride by B&M.

This was my first stand-up coaster and the first ride I rode at this park. Highly recommended.
