Kings Dominion is a nice park with a good number of rides and theming that could be described as being above average. The park offers a relatively good variety of roller coasters that are, for the most, part unique. However, despite its various faults, Kings Dominion has managed to create a family-friendly atmosphere that also gives beginner coaster-enthusiasts a good sampling of rides to choose from.

This is a park that is loaded with coasters. To me, none of them are really really great, but none of them really
really stink either. There is a lot there that is unusual and could be ridden over and over. You could go to many
parks yet not run into too many rides like Avalanche, Flight of Fear, Italian Job, and Volcano. Even Ricochet is good
for a wild mouse, and Scooby Doo is good for a family wooden. There were two management issues. They made us wait in
the hot sun because they couldn't get a ride open by 12:00 (when that is a late opening time by our standards anyway). I
couldn't find any food locations open before noon. (I think they had trouble finding enough people to work the park.
This seems to be a problem in many places.) Overall this is a good park. I have been there twice, and will go back. I
give it a grade of B+ .

It was my favorite park to go to, but that is because it was also the park where I overcame my fear of roller coasters.
The lines were very small so I rode each coaster several times. It does need a B&M, most of the rides were rough.

The only thing it's missing is a good B&M.

I think eastc0aster is probably right. The variety of unique rides in this park is awesome, it's got nice family rides,
and generally nice theming. It also has FoF, Hypersonic, and Volcano for the true thrill seekers. "PKD is where it be."

Are people scared of PKD or what? Why have only 4 people voted for their fav ride? And Who voted for an average ride
like the Grizzly. PKD is the best park on the East Coast. Yall need to step that up. PKD is where it be.
