This is a yawn fest for anyone who has already ridden nemesis or kumali. Initial drop is ace, followed by a good cobra roll but after this the poor designj really lets it down and you spend the rest of the day with a crick in the left side of your neck. If I could walk on it right now, I'd go and queue for the revolution.

remembered as traumatizer to me, not infusion, new theme looks brilliant, but placing it next to big one makes it look smaller than it is.
and well done to blackpool for not letting this go to waist.

Ever since this ride has been at southport, iv'e always wanted to go on it. When i saw vids on you tube of the park being closed, me and my brother crien our eyes out. Although when I heared that it had been moved to Blackpool I jumped for joy, but not when we arrived there and it had not yet opened. (groan)Then I heared it had gotten rough. (another groan) I aint been to a theme park in ages now, and i'm in year 6, and Ive got sats tests to face. (last groan)

This ride is great! A real step forward for Pleasure Beach, it can be a little bit rough in places but not as rough as other BPB rides, has some great foot choppers and the theming isn't bad. The ride ops actually tell you where to sit and check your restraints which is more than anyother ride at Blackpool.I could have been a bit longer though. It does look great and is a good ride, the "ARGGHH!" on top of the shop was funny.

This ride has been slated to death, and when I went on it, I found it to be actually rather fun and possibly the best ride in the park. This is the only SLC I've ever done so the first impression is good. The hype was unneceassary though.

I suppose going on Infusion or any other ride at PBB already having a bad headache from Sun stroke didnt help but the first times and the last time I went on Infusion I liked it. Thankyou.

it wasnt a bad ride, from what i've read i dont see what all the bitching is about. Sure its not close to the best, and yea its traumatizer painted blue, and built with a bit of water under it, but i its still a good ride, and worth a go on if your at pleasure beach, just dont expect it to be a nemesis killer

Nobody told you you were not a worthy member of the forum. The fact is, the more you post on the forums, the more people know you and are familiar with you, therefore they will show more openness to your thoughts. There we go. You love SLC's, there's your reasoning for this ride being so high. Thank you. You 'stand by your decision'? No you don't, you changed it in an earlier post which is just down there VVVVV. Coming off it smiling? Did I get a bad train then, with people coming off it complaining of neck and back aches?

And coming back to the whole 'respected CF members' thing, I believe it is the pblic who are the true reviewers for Infusion, because the ride is usually a new experience for them and they seem to be coming off it smiling not moaning how bad it is. Fair enough, Infusion is a cheap move for Pleasure Beach and to me it will always be Traumatizer painted blue, but all the same it is a great coaster for the public and for coaster lovers in general. It might be a tad bit rough, but then so are all the other rides at Pleasure Beach. I expect I am about to become CF enemy number one, but you have to realise I have the right to love a coaster and to rate it highly judging by my own experience. I wasn't horrified and crippled by the ride. I came off exhilarated and laughing to the photo booth. Thats because I enjoy a ride for what it is- not for what it is up against.

I am sick of being told I am not a worthy member of CF just because I dont have 1000000 posts or because I like rides other members don't. I absolutely love SLC's and yes I mean the Vekoma ones as well as B&M. I wasn't 'drawn in' to the hype I knew exactly what I was getting- a good cheap thrill jazzed up a bit and I really like Infusion I dont find it appaulingly rough like 'respected' members slate it for I find it fun and a great laugh and if that makes me a bad person then shoot me. I stand by my decision to rate Infusion '10' because it is everything Pleasure Beach needs at the moment not to mention the fact it looks fantastic looming over the bridge. If people can't respect what other people regardless to them think of a coaster, then perhaps they are the ones who need involentry brain surgery or a kick out of society...tata

Ck, it's a general thing I noticed when viewing. The people who rated the ride lower, are the people who have been on this site for a while, are respected, and are known to have a respected opinion on rides. Whereas the people giving it ten's, are less known, thus their opinion less respected, as there is less known about their being nor credibility. And to be honest, if you've been on hundreds of coasters around the world, and you rated an Infusion ten, you've either suffered involuntary brain surgery, or were bought into the hype surrounding the ride. Of course it get's positive reviews on it's own site. Negative ones are removed :P

Its surprisingly smooth for a SLC. I think what lets Infusion down is the hype surrounding it- sure its a good ride, brilliant in fact, but Pleasure Beach have screamed about it for the last 10 months and it is now expected to carry the park along 2007/08.

I found Infusion to be ALOT smoother than I thought it would be, though the In-Lines were still death.
Would run SO much better if they had the full size trains, as it looks and feels as if it's going to stall on the Roll Over and Sidewinder.
Other than that, good fun!

Smithy just because the CC's are low it doesnt necesserily mean people havent been on many coasters it just means they havent filled it in. I have been on hundreds of coasters in the UK, Europe and America and Austrailia but I havent properly filled out my CC. Anyways Infusion cain't be a bad coaster because when I went on Monday the queue was going way past the Big Dipper and onto the Pleasure Beach Racing queue. Plus have you seen how many positive reviews its been getting on its own website? It may be boring and Pleasure Beach Blackpool constantly lie about how 'intense' (ok 33 gs yeah yeah whatever!) but cain't people like it without being called liars?

It's not awful but it was rather dull and rough. The fountains didn't make the experience very exciting although I was laughing the whole way round as it said it pulled 33G. LMAO!!

Sadly, as Patrick said 'Infusion' is extremely painful and nauseating, but I still enjoyed it for some reason. Perhaps because it looks great. I take back the mark I gave it '10' and replace it with a good 7, purely because it did like many other SLC's take my breath away and it is brilliant when the water effects actually work (which for me it did i got a splash in my eye!!) however with the diabolically long queues and the restraints which restrict many of the views and the headbanging on the heartline loop and in-line-twist, I can see exactly where the true enthusiasts of CF are coming from. I still think the Revolution is more painful alas but the sheer forces seeping from the ride more than make up for it and yes, it is still better than Infusion.

Everything Patrick said rings true. Look at the people who rated it highly. People with low CC's, who therefore have not experience many coasters. Then look at the people who rated it lowly. Richie, Jack, Mike etc...

pmbo99, You are the stupid one, Calling well respected CFers stupid for telling the truth, You probably haven't been on it anyway if you say the restraints are comfortable, They are bulky and your head smashes into the side of them which hurts your eas and head, The only part without headbashing is in the lift hill and brake run. The layout of the coaster is dire and the coaster is forceless in my opinion. It's the worst inverting coaster in the country, And I've been on The Gauntlet.

For just a basic SLC, BPB have done a great job with it, the location in such a cramped park is great, the water is fun, but it doesn't have a tunnel section.

U may be calling me crazy, but i don't really like the way this is geting such bad reveiws. when this was at southport, i allways whanted 2 go on it since i was 3! (i am now 10) it closed down, traumatizer was moved, we whent 2 blackpool and it wernt open, so i need 2 go on it next year, ive been really exited about it, and now, im not as exited as i could be, cos this is getting bad reveiws! Im not saying that the people who hate it cant rate it, it just makes me less exited. but still, it should be gud....

Well done BPPB for errecting a slightly modified Traumatizer into the limited space between the Big Dipper and Pepsi Max Big One, which is tight at several places !! ALthough not the best ride of its type in the country it is a worthy addition to the Pleasure Beach replacing the rather dull Log Flume Ride that was crap anyway. 7/10
