It was great. But similar to what Rock-Steel said I did find it a bit rough compared to what i'd been on before. But

I loved the hills, but I am not used to turns on a wooden at that speed. It was just too rough for me.

What happens when you combine the speed of a steel coaster, with the thrill of a wooden coaster? you get EL TORO, from
it's surprisingly fast rise to the top, to it's record breaking 76 degree 170 foot drop at 75MPH it has incredible
upward force on the hills , and the unbelieavble hair pin turns almost at the end where you go sideways to the left,
right, left and right again WOW a must do

El toro is the best ride in the world! Even better than KIngda KA it's neighbor. This ride reaches speed a steel coaster
does let me see Balder do that!

Without doubt the best coaster I've rode in the U.S. Beaten only by Balder in my rankings, El Toro is a coaster I
could ride all day!

You know, baseball66, you can ask Ian to remove your rating and you can rerate. Same with you Jer, you can get rid of
your Vampire Freak rating same way.

This is the world's best woodie. The airtime is incredible, the first drop is stunning, and the ride is so smooth. 10/10

The most amazing air time I have ever experienced in my life. Has many quick turns and by far the smoothest woodie I
have ever been on. The back row is the best seat. Got to ride it 11 times!

I rode this in the front first after waiting an hour, and I wasn't disappointed. It was an amazing ride. However, when
I rode in the back, it was just phenominal. It shows that a relatively short layout can pack such a punch. The insane
airtime and the insane turns made this coaster my number one, by a long shot, and I have a feeling it will be staying in
that spot for a long time.

I finally rode this. I even rode it with some of my friends. One of them hates wooden coasters and she loved this one.
Best airtime ever. I love it.

My favortire ride in the park..Ejector air is insane...Love it..BUT, the odd thing..I feel ALOT more airtime in the
front than in the back...though, you get ejected the ENTIRE way down the drop in the back...I like thr front way
more..also, smooth as glass!..:)

OMG, if only I could rerate this! This is a definite 10! With this drop that looks steeper than Ka's, the best banked
curves I've ever been on, and better airtime then my famous Boulder Dash! This ride has everything a wooden roller
coaster can do. Do not miss this for your life! I did this 7 times while there! O YA!!!

This is by far my favorite ride in the park. The airtime in the last rows is ridiculous. The only other ride I like
better is Millenium Force. I havent had this much fun on a coaster since....... ever.

Can't wait to ride this beast! Also Rune, those others that you haven't ridden are probably some of the best rides at
the park, so I'm sure Toro is by far your favorite. Still, I think this thing may actually be the best coaster in the
world.

I don't know how anyone can give this under 10, I've been on every ride there except the chiller, kingda ka, and nitro
but this is by far my favorite.

how the hell do you NOT rate this a ten. IT is the only true 10 in the world. It actually puts ALL other rides to shame.

I'd give it a 8.5 line was long kinda ruined experience on it and Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce is so much better

El Toro is the woodie for the person who doesn't like woodies. It has all the benefits of woodies (i.e. headchoppers!)
with none of the drawbacks (roughness, unless you like it). Ride it with your eyes closed and you'll barely be able to
tell it's wood. Even the lift is amazing. On any other coaster I consider the ride to have started when the center
car passes the top of the lift, on Toro it starts when the lift speeds up. In fact, it almost feels like a mini-launch.
The first drop is nothing in the front, you're almost halfway down by the time you really speed up. In the back,
however, you get ejected all the way down, beaten only by the crossover hill, BY FAR the best part of the ride.

Simply amazing... so fast, so out of control, insane rapid fire pacing... by the time your mind focuses on one element
(the height, the drop, the airtime, the S turn), you are mercilessly thrown into the next... TRULY A WORK OF ART.

My favorite coaster out of the 131 I have been on....including Voyage, S:RoS at SFNE and MF. This has the greatest
ejector airtime around, and it is sustained for a good 3 seconds at a time. Incredibly fast paced, great airtime, great
laterals, great G's, and great headchopper, all bundled into one smooth ride....what more could you ask for?

This ride is extremely amazing. The reason I say this is not just because of speed, excitement and exhilaration of
the ride, BUT because of re-rideability of the ride. I have ridden El Toro 30+ times and it hasn't gotten old
once. Amazing ride! #1 in my books!

This was the best wooden coaster that I have ever been on. It was very fast and smooth. The airtime on this ride is
incredible. There is always a surprise wanting around the corner; you never know what to expect. Anyone who is a coaster
fanatic MUST ride "El Toro".

Oh S**t i didn't mean to give it a one. Either way i meant 10. Maybe coasterforce can delete my vote if the webmaster
sees this. This ride is amazing, and possibly better than Nitro. Although I still haven't been on Kingda Ka (it's
closed much more often than opened) I think this is tied with Nitro for the best ride in the park. I expected this to
be the realitively cheap follow up to the monster that is Kingda Ka, but it pulled through. The figure 8 was the best
part of the ride, and it was pretty smooth too. This is easily the best wooden coaster I've ever been on, and what ever
type this is it's so much smoother than a typical wooden coaster. The airtime is awesome too. I could go on forever
but i won't. Great ride and not one to miss because of queue lines.
