Soltau, Germany

Colossos | Desert Race | Limit | Big Loop | Grotto Blitz | Mountain Rafting | Wild Water 1 | Wild Water 2 | Scream | Swiss Bob

Colossos is the 2nd tallest wooden coaster in the world, and the tallest in Europe. Built by Intamin, it is a new-generation 'prefab' woodie, which are renowned for being exceptionally smooth and full of airtime. Colossos is a fairly standard out-and-back wooden coaster, in an L-shape, but the airtime it gives on this run is excellent, and the ride's sheer height and speed allows it to be thrilling without an exceptional layout.

Spent the day at HP on Saturday - rather cold but great for riding as there were about 10 people in the entire park !!!
Went on Colossos 3 times and loved it. Will be riding it again when we go back to HP later this year.

This is definately one of the best coaster in the world... There are so much airtime, (especially in the back) and
actually this ride is very very smooth for a woodie. A absolute BLAST and a MUST RIDE!! 10/10

This ride is AWSOMENESS! The anticipation going round the turn at the top, and the ejector airtime on specifically the
1st, 2nd and last hills. Smooth, fast, tall, my favourite woody I have ever ridden!!!

Hi. I'm from Costa Rica, this is the first time I write here. I went to Germany two years ago, and I couldn wait to ride
colossos...Until that day I didn't understand what "Airtime" mean. It's a shame that there is just one thrill park in
CR...and, to my mind, only one real thirll ride: a 130 ft. free fall tower. Theres a SLC and a Steel Coaster too...but
nothing great. You are lucky to have Six Flags Parks everywhere...I whish to live one day near one of them in the US.

Its a beast. 200ft of pure wood. The drop is awesome and the whole ride has some wicked airtime. It still doesn't
quite match up to Balder though.
