As with some other CF park guides, not all attractions can be covered but here's a quick run down of a few of the walk-thru attractions you'll find at Blackgang Chine...remember they are mainly aimed at children!
CROOKED HOUSE
This attraction dates back from 1968 and is a slanted walk-thru.
Explore a one level house (a bungalow?) and see the funny happening in each slanty room!
SMUGGLER LAND
Smuggling was rife in the southern part of the Isle of Wight in the olden days and this walk thru shows you what life for a smuggler was like.
LEFT: WEATHER WIZARD SHOW
Explore the four seasons in this walk thru!
RIGHT: NURSERY LAND
Sweet houses and loads of toadstools. Very strange!
LIGHT MUSIC FACTORY
A pop tune plays on a loop until you wave your hand over a beam of light to add samples or vocals to the tune! Hours of fun!
RUMPUS MANSION
A fantasy style walk thru and one of the most impressive at Blackgang Chine. Press buttons to make characters come to life.
May be a tad scary for the very young.
FRONTIERLAND
Wow! A whole area filled with shops, jails and a full size replica of a locomotive! Frontierland is an area superbly themed to the cowboy western days of America.
LEFT: TRIASSIC CLUB
A tiny walk thru where a dinosaur has lunch..don't forget to weigh yourself before you enter!
RIGHT: DINOSUARLAND
An impressive area with loads of dinosaur models you can climb on! Educational as well.
MAZE
The biggest hedge maze on the Isle of Wight. This maze was planted in 1963 and is great fun to get lost in!
PIRATE FORT
Arghh, Jim Lad. Walk ye plank and clamber on ye masts and sails in this pirate themed play area.
Oh, and if you listen to the song sang by the pirates, I swear it says "Volkswagen Golf" somewhere in there.
