Antelope | Alpine Log Flume Wild Mine Ride | Other Attractions

The Antelope is a strange ride. It's classically juddery like all good wooden roller coasters should be, yet it has an unexplainable charm to it that no other woodie in the UK has.

The Antelope dips, dives and turns around a lush green field cluttered with random merry-go-round-type horses.
The ride fits 16 people at a time and runs a one train operation, meaning queue times can be long at peak times. Restraints consist of a seatbelt and a lap bar which restricts the already little airtime that The Antelope has to offer.

What needs to be remembered is that The Antelope is suited more for young riders and might not be as thrilling as some of the other wooden coaster in the UK...but there's still that unexplainable charm to it!

It is rough to the point of being painful at the back of the ride, in the morning. Try it out later in the day near the
front, and its a brilliant ride, consdiering the park themselves made it. :)

This rollercoaster was probably my first big one. I have great memories of it but I'd probably think it's too tame now.
But for little kids, it's great.
