Alpengeist is the largest of all B&M inverted coasters and is considered to be one of the best inverted coasters in the world with it's six massive inversions. As a side note, Alpengeist is the only B&M Invert to have a stabilizing 'Zero-Car' placed on the front of its train. Commonly seen on B&M Sit-down, Stand-Up, and Mega coasters, the Zero-Car's purpose is to help stabilize Alpengeist as its train negotiates the ride's huge inversions at high speed.

Type: Inverted
Manufacturer: Bolliger & Mabillard
Opened: 1997
Height: 195ft
Speed: 67mph
Length: 3,828ft

I have been riding Alpengeist since it first opened back in 1997 and have ridden it atleast several times a year since
97. The coaster has lost all its appeal to me. I want a coaster that makes me feel the drops. I honestly
could fall asleep on this coaster, maybe because I have ridden it so much. Definitely a great coaster, just not on my
top coasters list.

This is the tallest and fastest inverted coaster in the world (or at-least U.S)and it looks so fun. It has 6 inversions
(awesome) and the drop is HUGE!!! But it's still curved. WOOH

The elements are all big so they don't seem so intense. Rcdb.com says that this is 7 mph faster than any other B&M
invert that I found. It is so smooth, but the force is there somewhere.

Tbh, this ride is ridiculously large. It's just the size of any normal coaster, but three times bigger in every
direction!

Prolly one of the best inverted coasters I've been on. B&M does it again. Although sitting in the back car of this was
not the best experience....

Whenever you think of a GREAT!!!! B&M inverter, this is the one. It's smooth, fast, has many inversions. It's on my top
ten list of fav orite roller coasters.

This is my favorite B&M Inverted coaster. The drop is intense and the ride does not let up at all. Great use of terrain
to increase the excitement. Kudos to B&M. Also, this is one of only a couple rides that can be seen from the main road
leading to Busch Gardens. A great way to welcome coaster lovers to the area. Kudos to BGE :-)

Just rode it again last weekend in the front, back, and middle, and my legs got all tingly on each ride. This ride is
pure FURY. It's just so intense.

Divv, maybe you found it dissapointing, but 5 is a little extreme I think..

The lamest of all the B&M inverts I've rode. I found it forceless after the first drop. Nowhere near the intensity
of a Nemesis or a Batman. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Pure sex. Monstrous spiraling drop, wicked positives Gs everywhere (especially in the Cobra), a fantastic zero-g roll,
and great theming make this my new number 1. Yes, even over Griffon.

Not my favorite invert, but it's darn close. Incredibly intense and just a fun ride all around. The spiraling 1st drop
is very cool. Nice theme and everything... definitely one of the better ones out there.

I think it needs one more loop to bring my vote to a ten. It seems wierd that smaller inverters have seven loops while
the big one only has six. Dunno, seems wierd.

It was fun, but the drop is 3/4 of a helix and the cobra roll smashes your head to the side, but overall it is a good
ride

In my top 5 coasters I have ever been on, I would love to go on it again (went on it 5 years ago) so I can compare to
other inverts, since it was my first inverted coaster. Seems better than Talon, Batman, Raptor, and Dueling Dragons, and
I loved them all.
